Dammam

Dammam is a major city on Saudi Arabia's Gulf coast, long established as a hub of the kingdom's oil industry and telecom infrastructure. It is adding a new use case in August 2026: DDC307, a data-centre facility for which Saudi Telecom subsidiary 'solutions' signed a build contract on 3 August, disclosed to the market on 4 August .

For a city whose industrial base has centred on hydrocarbons and fixed-line telecom, an 18-month build covering mobilisation, engineering, construction, MEP integration, testing and commissioning marks a further step into compute infrastructure alongside its existing energy and communications footprint, with the project's financial impact expected from the first quarter of 2027.
