How to Contact Us

Send your complaint to complaints@lowdown.today. Please include your name, the URL of the content in question, the nature of your concern, and the outcome you are seeking.

Our Process

We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days. You will receive an initial response within 10 working days, and a final response within 20 working days.

Corrections

Where a factual error is verified, we publish a correction at the same prominence as the original content within 48 hours. Contact corrections@lowdown.today to submit a correction request. See also our corrections policy on the About page.

Copyright and Takedown

Lowdown respects intellectual property rights under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. If you believe content on this service infringes your copyright, please send written notice to legal@lowdown.today including:

Identification of the copyrighted work
URL of the allegedly infringing content
Your contact details
A statement that your claim is made in good faith

We will respond within 14 days and, where a claim is upheld, take appropriate action promptly.

Defamation

We take care to avoid publishing content that is false and harmful to reputation. The Defamation Act 2013 governs defamation claims in England and Wales. If you believe we have published defamatory content, contact legal@lowdown.today. We will review the content and, where appropriate, correct or remove it.

Escalation

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to IMPRESS (where applicable) or to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk for data protection concerns. You may also wish to seek independent legal advice.
