Choghaddak is an Iranian military installation in Bushehr province, on Iran's Persian Gulf coast in the south of the country. On 9 July 2026, Bushehr's deputy governor Ehsan Jahanian told the state news agency IRNA that a US projectile had struck the base at noon, in the same claimed strike wave as the Bushehr nuclear plant's perimeter and an Asaluyeh pier, with no reactor damage or casualties.
