Iran Conflict 2026Background
Uttar Pradesh is India's most populous state, with more than 241 million people. It lies in the north of the country and its capital is Lucknow. It is also one of the states that sends men to SEA on foreign-flagged merchant ships, which is how it reaches a story about The Gulf at all.
India supplies more seafarers than any country but one, counting 171,218 ratings at SEA, 11.29 per cent of the global ratings pool. On the Cape Dao, 20 of a complement of 28 were Indian. Yadav was a wiper, the most junior rating in a ship's engine room, and the most junior man on board.
Attacks in the Musandam approaches have produced no claimant, so the compensation routes that depend on naming WHO fired are shut. The households absorbing a death at SEA are in districts like Deoria, not in any belligerent capital, and they have no standing in the dispute that killed him.
