Treasury names 10 Iran missile suppliers
Iran Conflict 2026Background
This is a small Hong Kong trading company in electronics. It was incorporated on 11 June 2019 and its registered address is a room in the Beverley Commercial Centre on Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui. Hong Kong records also carry the names Chengzi Trading Co Ltd and Sunrise Electronics Co Ltd against the same entity, and its Chinese name is given as 昴雋電訊有限公司.
Public information beyond the registry entry and the American designation is thin, which is usual for a company of this size and kind. Nothing establishes a factory, a product line or employees. What it has is an address, three names and a company number, and those are the identifiers a compliance screen matches on.
Hong Kong is a recurring seat for companies named in American Iran designations, because a trading company there can buy Western-origin electronics without the buyer at the FAR end appearing on the invoice. That is the role OFAC's notice alleges here, and it is why a room in Tsim Sha Tsui ends up in a missile-procurement file.
Treasury names the components supplier
The designation of 29 September 2026 put the company inside a ten-part network Treasury says buys parts for Iran's Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics. OFAC's notice gives it the Hong Kong end of that network: it alleges the company provided electronic components in support of KavoshCom Asia R and D Group, the Tehran firm Treasury places at the centre.
Treasury listed it under Executive Order 13382, the American proliferation authority covering Weapons of Mass Destruction and their delivery systems. That choice of authority sets both the trigger for the listing and the route off it, and it is a different order from the one the State Department used the same day. The allegation is the designating government's; no court has tested it, and neither Beijing nor the Hong Kong government has published a response.
