The Data Center Coalition (DCC) is a US trade association for data-centre operators, founded in July 2019 and based in Leesburg, Virginia. Its membership spans major cloud and colocation operators, including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Digital Realty and CoreWeave.
The Coalition's role is to represent members' interests as states write rules for data-centre growth: pressing for predictable timelines, resisting open-ended reviews, and arguing that compliant operators should not be penalised for a state's own planning gaps. Its response to Texas's 2026 review of data-centre projects followed that pattern, urging regulators to work through the process quickly.
The Coalition speaks for the industry as a body; individual members and their executives, including its own EVP for state policy Dan Diorio, hold and voice their own positions within that shared REMIT.
