Yeremy Pino is Spain's only confirmed absentee for the World Cup final against Argentina at MetLife Stadium on 19 July 2026; Lamine Yamal and Pedro Porro are both carrying knocks but expected to play.
Born on 20 October 2002 in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Pino turned down an approach from Barcelona to join Villarreal's academy at 14 in 2017. He made his first-team debut in 2020 and started as the club won the 2021 UEFA Europa League, becoming the competition's youngest-ever winner. In February 2022 he scored four goals, including a first-half hat-trick, in a 5-1 win over Espanyol, the youngest player to score a first-half hat-trick in La Liga. He moved to Crystal Palace in August 2025 and has won 21 caps for Spain, scoring four goals.
His absence leaves Luis de la Fuente with one fewer attacking option for the biggest match of the tournament, in a Spain squad otherwise reporting a clean bill of health.
