Globe International SPC

Globe International SPC is an Omani company designated by the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) on 18 June 2026 as a financial node connected to Hezbollah facilitator Alaa Hamieh. The designation came under OFAC's counter-terrorism authorities and formed part of a broader action that also named Lebanese politicians Sleiman Frangieh and Mahmoud Qamati. The timing placed the designation five days after the 16 June Islamabad MOU signing, at a point when the US had not yet delivered promised sanctions relief on Iran; critics noted that designating a Hezbollah-linked Omani entity while stalling on Iran sanctions signalled the two tracks were not moving in step.

Globe International SPC is a small designated entity. Its significance lies in its connection to the Hamieh network, which OFAC had first sanctioned in March 2026 and expanded in June. The network is described by US Treasury as facilitating funds for Hezbollah across Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Oman. As a Special Purpose Company (SPC) registered in Oman, it represents the kind of cross-jurisdictional Shell structure used to distance Hezbollah from directly sanctioned Lebanese entities.
