Ukraine cuts into Crimea's supply spine
Russia-Ukraine War 2026Background
Code 9.2 is the 475th Separate Assault Regiment of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, operating long-range FP-2 and Behemoth drone systems. It is part of the world's first dedicated drone combat branch, established in 2024. The unit specialises in deep-strike logistics interdiction at ranges exceeding 200 km.
On 7 June 2026, Code 9.2 struck the Chonhar Bridge with FP-2 and Behemoth drones, forcing Russian supply convoys to reroute via Armyansk and adding ~130 km to logistics runs into Crimea. The strike marked the Behemoth's first confirmed combat use and contributed to petrol rationing across the peninsula. ISW subsequently assessed Ukraine had achieved drone fire control over the T-22-09 land corridor.
