Verda is a Finnish company selling GPU compute as a cloud service. Its own documentation lists three data centre facilities, all in Helsinki, and it says it will have more than 250MW of operations in 2027. It states a $165m annualised revenue run rate for July 2026 and more than 250 staff across Helsinki, London, Taipei and San Francisco.
The Finnish Trade Register records the business under number 2886809-8, registered on 25 January 2018 and domiciled in Helsinki, with a main line of computing infrastructure, data processing and hosting. The Register shows the legal name changing from DataCrunch Oy to Verda Cloud Oy on 16 January 2026, with DataCrunch kept as a trading name. The company announced the rename on 5 November 2025 and phased it in. Verda's own timeline dates its founding to 2020, two years after The Register entry.
Its $189m Series B, announced on 22 September 2026, was led by Emergence Capital of California and took total funding past $450m across equity and debt . Tesi, the Finnish state investment company, and Varma, a mutual pension insurer, each confirmed their own participation, Varma with more than €50m. Verda also lists Supermicro among its investors, though Supermicro's own announcements describe a hardware partnership rather than an investment.
