South Gyle is a business and retail district on the west side of Edinburgh, Scotland, and home to the former Royal Bank of Scotland headquarters at 1 Redheughs Avenue.

A proposed 212.42 MW data centre for the site is now before the Scottish Government's Planning and Environmental Appeals Division, as case PPA-230-2794, after Edinburgh Council's initial refusal.

A DPEA screening direction on 30 July 2026 reopened the case by requiring a full environmental impact assessment, and a decision is now targeted for 8 September 2026.
