SNN came to international attention in May 2026 when it published commentary from a strategic analyst framing Iran's negotiating position with the United States as one of strength: Tehran was presented as having received a draft memorandum of understanding via Pakistani Mediation and as awaiting Washington's counter-text. The phrasing that 'the ball is now in America's court' was notable precisely because it inverted the Western framing of an Iran under pressure and appeared through a state-linked channel as what analysts described as a coordinated public posture.
