Fedea, the Fundacion de Estudios de Economia Aplicada, is a Spanish economic research foundation. On 17 September 2026 a research bulletin it produced with BBVA found that Spanish AI use splits sharply by education. That mirrored a wider euro-area pattern the European Central Bank had reported days before: use up from 26% in 2024 to 52% in 2026. The ECB figure stood at 61% for university-educated workers against 37% for the less educated .
The foundation's work here sits within its usual REMIT of applied economic research on labour markets, rather than a one-off intervention.
The bundle does not give Fedea's own numbers for Spain, only that its findings matched the ECB's education split. This page will ADD specifics once they are available.
