Terra B1 is Terra Drone’s Japanese-made interceptor drone. Its maker says the product is designed to counter long-range loitering drones, including Shahed types.
Terra Drone is a Tokyo-listed company. Japan’s Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Agency selected Terra B1 for its Interceptor Drone Early Acquisition Program on 15 July 2026. Tests ran from late July to early August.
On 25 August, Terra Drone said Terra B1 was the only interceptor to pass ATLA’s fast-track trial. The result placed it in the next stage towards mass production, but it did not constitute a procurement contract.
