RTVE (Radio Televisión Española) is Spain's national public-service broadcaster, relevant to the media-AI pivot as a EU public broadcaster navigating AI Act Article 50 transparency obligations alongside a distinct national context: Spain's RTVE is one of the few European public broadcasters that has already removed commercial advertising from its main channels (since 2010), making licence-fee and state-funding dependency its core political vulnerability.
