Cascade
Stark Defence's tube-launched loitering munition, 5kg warhead, range up to 100km.
Stark Defence and MBDA said on 30 September 2026 that they plan to fit ten Cascade cells forward on Stark's 12m robot boat, with four Sea Venom missiles AFT. The firms call the arming work early-stage, and nothing has yet been fired from that hull.

Ten Cascade loitering munitions on a robot boat: does it change naval strike?

Stark and MBDA plan Sea Venom on a USV
Autonomous Systems: Land & SeaBackground
Cascade is a tube-launched loitering munition made by Stark Defence, the German uncrewed-systems company. It carries a 5kg warhead to a range of up to 100km and is designed for canister and container launchers on land and at SEA.
At the REPMUS 2026 exercise it was test-fired fully digitally through Stark's Minerva software from a Vanta vessel. On 30 September 2026 Stark and the missile maker MBDA said they would fit ten Cascade cells forward on Stark's 12m uncrewed surface vessel, alongside four MBDA Sea Venom anti-ship missiles aft. Autonomy testing is planned at Nordic exercises through 2027.
The pairing gives a small robot boat two layers of strike: Cascade for cheaper, longer-range attack on lighter targets and Sea Venom for ships. The plan is early-stage and not fielded, so Cascade's naval record so FAR rests on test launches rather than an operational fleet.
