Paul Rock

Paul Rock is one of two Wales Green Party MSs elected in the May 2026 Senedd election — a result that made the Greens the formal confidence-and-supply partner for Rhun ap Iorwerth's Plaid Cymru minority government. He represents Cardiff Ffynnon Taf, a constituency covering Radyr, Tongwynlais and the upper Taff valley, which the Greens won as part of a broader squeeze on Welsh Labour's urban vote.

The Wales Greens' two-seat result represented a fall from the ten seats they held during the previous Senedd, following the collapse of their electoral pact with Plaid Cymru. The party's remaining two MSs — Rock and his colleague — chose to offer Plaid confidence-and-supply rather than opposition, trading a formal agreement for influence on climate and equality legislation without ministerial portfolios.
