Mäntsälä is a municipality roughly 60km northeast of Helsinki that already hosts Nebius data-centre capacity.
Nebius told shareholders on 12 August 2026 that it added new Finnish capacity during the second quarter, and DataCenterDynamics reported the detail: a second Mäntsälä facility of up to 70 MW coming online from 2027, taking the country's Nebius footprint to 455 MW across three sites . The build sits inside a wider Nordic and Baltic expansion that also added a first Estonian site and UK capacity in the same quarter.
Finland markets itself to hyperscale operators as a low-carbon alternative to congested hubs such as Dublin and London, where connection queues have lengthened.
