Autonomous Systems: Land & Sea: A Maltese university buys a survey boatBackground
The Maestri Project is the University of Malta research grant, reference SPD1/2026/026 and CUP G13C25000300006, charged with a 31 July 2026 procurement for a hydrographic survey drone.
As a funded research programme rather than the university itself, Maestri is the budget line the purchase is administered under; the CUP reference ties it to that specific grant, distinct from the university's own general procurement activity.
