Eva Valle Maestro is Consejera de Economía, Competitividad y Empleo in the Gobierno de Aragón, Spain’s regional government. She has held the POST since 3 May 2026, with responsibility for Aragón’s economy, competitiveness and employment portfolio.
Her REMIT matters as Aragón seeks investment and manages the regional conditions affecting major employers and infrastructure projects. On 11 September 2026, Aragón intervened in the debate on Spain’s proposed rules for new data centres, which would require 80% of renewable power to be matched hour by hour.
The proposal is relevant to Aragón because the region has granted about 3,600 MW of grid access for data centres, while roughly 108 MW had been built when the issue was reported.
