Edinburgh Southern
Scottish Parliament constituency held by Labour's Daniel Johnson, projected as the party's only Scottish hold.

Background
Edinburgh Southern is a constituency covering the Morningside, Marchmont, and Southside areas of Edinburgh. It is held by Daniel Johnson, who has served as the Scottish Labour leader in the Scottish Parliament and built a personal vote in the seat.
For the 2026 Holyrood elections, Edinburgh Southern is the only constituency in Scotland where Labour is projected to hold its seat rather than lose ground. Every other Scottish Labour constituency seat is at risk, making Johnson's survival the sole marker of the party's constituency-level presence at Holyrood.
