Edinburgh Southern is a constituency covering the Morningside, Marchmont, and Southside areas of Edinburgh. It is held by Daniel Johnson, who has served as the Scottish Labour leader in the Scottish Parliament and built a personal vote in the seat.

For the 2026 Holyrood elections, Edinburgh Southern is the only constituency in Scotland where Labour is projected to hold its seat rather than lose ground.
