In April 2026 E4 was picked, again with Dell, to deploy the EUR 290 million IT4LIA AI Factory machine hosted by CINECA in Bologna. Two EuroHPC awards inside four months put the Italian integrator among a small handful of firms Brussels now trusts to build the bloc's AI-factory infrastructure, the practical test of Europe's push for compute independent of US and Chinese suppliers.
