Background
Venuto was the architect of HorizonOS Blu, the agentic media buying platform that Horizon Media launched at Cannes Lions on 18 June 2026. Built on Model Context Protocol, HorizonOS Blu routes media buys across channels in real time using autonomous AI agents, with Disney, Fox Corporation, NBCUniversal, TikTok, Snap, iHeartMedia, Clear Channel, and OUTFRONT as named launch partners. Horizon manages more than $8.5bn in annual media spend, and together with WPP the two agencies pointed roughly $17bn of annual media spend at agentic buying on a single protocol in one day.
Venuto holds the Chief Product Officer role at Horizon Media, one of the largest independent media agencies in the United States. He has overseen Horizon's digital product strategy and data infrastructure, positioning the agency ahead of larger holding-company rivals on AI-native buying infrastructure.
HorizonOS Blu's launch on the same day as WPP's agentic announcement concentrated extraordinary buying power on Model Context Protocol simultaneously. If performance at scale matches the launch commitments, Venuto's product bet marks the beginning of the end for manual insertion-order media buying in the US market.
