Background

Bristol is one of seven South West England counties and cities covered by the British Business Bank's South West Investment Fund, which has deployed £157m across 283 businesses since its July 2023 launch . Bristol-based hardware company Astral Systems' £23m round is separately reported as having moved the whole region's annual equity share on its own.
