Almondbury is a three-member ward of Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council, south-east of Huddersfield. The boundary introduced for the May 2026 election includes Almondbury village and surrounding communities. The Local Government Boundary Commission recorded 13,441 electors in 2023 and forecast 14,463 by 2029.
