USV Alliance is the consortium inside Dutch Naval Design responsible for building the anti-submarine warfare uncrewed surface vessels the Netherlands Ministry of Defence authorised on 4 August 2026.
The vessels are 12 metres long and will carry an adapted Compact FLASH dipping sonar bought from Thales Underwater Systems France, supporting the Dutch-Belgian frigate programme built by Damen Naval. The consortium structure lets Dutch Naval Design draw on separate build expertise for the hull while it keeps the design authority role, so vessel construction stays distinct from the sonar and sensor integration work handled elsewhere in the programme.
