Security is Strength PAC is a South Carolina independent-expenditure-only committee registered with the Federal Election Commission under identifier C00573733. Kevin Hall serves as its treasurer. It has held federal registration since March 2015, which makes it the senior committee among those active in the state's 2026 special Senate primary.
Longevity distinguishes it from single-contest vehicles that form around a particular vacancy and disband afterwards. A committee that has maintained registration across several cycles carries filing history, established vendor relationships and a donor base that can be approached again, none of which a newly formed committee has.
Its in-state registration matters for the same reason. Where most independent expenditure in federal primaries now flows through committees administered elsewhere, a locally registered organisation is answerable in the jurisdiction it seeks to influence, and its filings sit alongside the state's own campaign finance record rather than apart from it.
The committee backed the endorsed candidate

The committee's position in the contest is distinctive for reasons that have nothing to do with the size of that figure. It is the only long-established organisation spending in the race, and the only one registered in the state whose primary it is trying to influence. It is also, on the reported numbers, not the best-funded operation in the contest, which is an unusual place for the committee behind a presidentially endorsed candidate to find itself.
