A former Switzerland goalkeeper, Zuberbuhler now leads the FIFA panel of coaches and analysts that assesses the football at each World Cup, working alongside Arsene Wenger, FIFA's chief of global football development, and members including the Ghanaian coach Otto Addo.
The panel's findings went out with the knockout stage still to be played, the same day FIFA's chief refereeing officer, Pierluigi Collina, published his own officiating review .
