KinetIQ is the software control system that runs Humanoid's HMND 01 wheeled robot platform, developed in-house by the company rather than licensed from a third party.
Humanoid named the system when announcing its Series A funding but has published no technical detail on how KinetIQ differs from rival Humanoid control stacks, so its capabilities cannot yet be assessed independently.
Control software is widely regarded as the harder engineering problem in Humanoid robotics, more so than the hardware itself, since it governs balance, manipulation and task execution in real environments. How KinetIQ performs once Humanoid's beta units reach customers from the fourth quarter of 2026 will be the first independent test of the claims behind it.
