GATE Technologies makes electronic SAFE-and-Arm devices and electronic fuzes for weapons, including loitering munitions. Its systems determine when a warhead may detonate, placing the company in the safety and initiation layer of precision weapons. Ondas Holdings acquired GATE on 14 September 2026, making it part of a wider defence technology group.
Founded in 2006, GATE develops the RUBI family of SAFE-and-Arm devices using its LEEFI initiation technology. The fully electronic design has no moving parts. Ondas says GATE products appear in more than 90 weapon systems, including about 100 RUBI configurations for loitering munitions.
GATE also has a Polish affiliate, Bron Technologies. Its Polish production base gives the group a European manufacturing route for devices that Ondas markets outside US arms-export controls.
