The gazette records the grid decision
On 10 September, Diário Oficial da União published Aneel’s authorisation for Scala Data Centers’ AI City campus to connect to Brazil’s national transmission grid. The order made the regulator’s decision publicly available through the federal record.
The published authorisation confirmed a 120-megawatt connection from January 2028. Diário Oficial da União did not issue the authorisation, but its publication marked the point at which the order became public.
