Drones: Industry & DefenceBackground
Cyberhawk is a British drone-inspection and analytics firm owned by Ondas Holdings. Ondas completed its purchase on 10 August 2026 for US$118.2m in cash plus restricted shares, making Cyberhawk part of a group building drone operations beyond airframes alone.
Founded in 2008, Cyberhawk is headquartered in Edinburgh and has a US headquarters in Denver. Its iHawk cloud platform turns drone inspection flights into asset-condition data for oil and gas, power, utilities and renewable-energy operators.
Cyberhawk's significance lies in the civil infrastructure layer of the drone sector: inspection data helps asset owners assess physical equipment without relying only on manual surveys. Ondas later bought the Israeli fuze maker GATE Technologies and its Polish affiliate, a separate defence transaction that underlines Cyberhawk's distinct role as the group's inspection-data business.
