Chris Sununu leads Airlines for America, the trade body representing major US passenger and cargo airlines. He took the presidency and chief executive role in September 2025 after four terms as governor of New Hampshire.
Sununu was New Hampshire’s Republican governor from January 2017 until January 2025. He is the son of former governor John H. Sununu and the younger brother of former senator John E. Sununu. The family name remains politically recognisable in New Hampshire, where John E. Sununu is contesting the open Senate seat in 2026.
