Bradford

Bradford is a metropolitan borough in West Yorkshire with a substantial Muslim population, predominantly of Pakistani heritage, making up approximately a quarter of the population. It has been Labour-controlled at council level, though independent and community candidates have made inroads.

Your Party identified Bradford as one of its key target areas outside London for May 2026, alongside its London borough targets. Bradford's established Muslim community networks and history of independent political activity make it fertile ground for a new Muslim-led party challenging Labour's grip on working-class and minority communities.
