AirDNA counted $93 million in Dallas rentals, but how much of that is new spending?
Background
AirDNA supplies short-term rental market data, tracking booking volumes, prices and occupancy across cities worldwide. During the 2026 World Cup its analysts measured Dallas-Fort Worth's rental spending at $93.3 million, a $26 million rise on the previous year, with international visitors making up 24% of demand against 7% a year earlier. Miami and Los Angeles recorded larger rises, at $42.7 million and $32.7 million respectively. Senior research analyst Linda Rollins attributed about $10 million of the Dallas-Fort Worth increase to extra nights booked rather than higher prices.
