AI Materials Foundry

The AI Materials Foundry is CuspAI's name for a Coalition of more than 45 founding partners announced on 20 July 2026, described by the company as a global network of data, labs, compute and scientific expertise for the design of new materials.

The Coalition draws together semiconductor equipment makers, chemicals firms and manufacturers, pooling proprietary data and laboratory access intended to speed up AI-assisted discovery of new materials, an area where physical experimentation has traditionally been slow and expensive.

As a named initiative rather than an established institution, its scope and governance rest entirely on CuspAI's own description; independent verification of its membership and workings has not yet been possible.
